Q: Do I have to have Online Banking to enroll in Mobile Banking?
A: No, we allow Mobile First Enrollment.


Q: How do I enroll?
A: Search "Northwest Mobile" in the app store on your phone, download the app, and click the "Enroll" button on the login screen. Business Online Banking Users: Please contact your Company System Administrator to determine your ability to enroll in Business Mobile Banking.


Q: Is there a fee for Mobile Banking?
A: Mobile Banking is free for all Online Banking customers. *Please note standard SMS Text Messaging and Web Browser Application fees from your mobile phone provider still apply.


Q: Can I enroll more than one phone?
A: SMS banking will be limited to the phone you enroll, but you may log in to Mobile Banking via the Northwest Mobile app or mobile web browser using any compatible device.


Q: Can I select my own Login ID?
A: If you are enrolled in Online Banking, your Mobile Banking Login ID will be the same as your Online Banking ID. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, you may select your own Login ID.


Q: Will I receive a confirmation once my enrollment is complete?
A: When enrollment in Mobile Banking is complete, you will be taken to the Mobile Banking Homepage.


Q: How do I know if I can access Mobile Banking?
A: A mobile phone enabled for mobile web browsing and text messaging is needed in order to utilize both.


Q: What can I do with Northwest Mobile app and SMS Text-based Banking?
A: Each option has its advantages - for example, you can pay bills through the mobile app, but text messaging can quickly return balance information when you're in a hurry. The app provides a unified user experience and the same functionality as Online Banking.


Q: Do I have to use the mobile app and text messages?
A: If your phone or mobile plan only supports text messages or if you prefer this method of banking, text banking may be used alone. Alternatively, you may download our free Northwest Mobile app for iPhone, iPad, Android phone and Android tablet that provides a superior experience which is unified with Online Banking.


Q: What's special about the Northwest Mobile app?
A: The Northwest Mobile App provides the same functionality as Online Banking all from the convenience of your smartphone or tablet! Access all of our cool new features like transferring to and from Northwest accounts and external accounts, sending person-to-person payments using PopMoney and managing all of your finances in one place with MoneyDesktop.


Q: How do I log in to Mobile Banking through the Northwest Mobile app?
A: If you are enrolled in Online Banking, you will use the same Login ID and password you use to access Online Banking. If you are only enrolled in Mobile Banking, you will enter the Login ID and password established during your Mobile Banking enrollment.


Q: Is the Northwest Mobile app available for other devices (i.e. Windows Phone or Amazon Kindle)?
A: While it is our goal to support additional popular devices in the future, at this time, Northwest Mobile is only available for iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets.
