Northwest Bank’s Abe Ibrahim Receives Philadelphia Business Journal 2022 Diversity in Business Honor

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania—We are excited to share that the Philadelphia Business Journal has named Abe Ibrahim, market executive and regional vice president of commercial banking, Northwest Bank, as a 2022 Diversity in Business Award honoree! 

Ibrahim is one of 20 individuals throughout the Greater Philadelphia region being honored for their impact on the region and its business community through their leadership. As an established banking executive with more than a decade of experience in the industry, Ibrahim has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to creating actionable change through visionary leadership.

Of the recognition, Ibrahim notes, “having served the diverse communities of the Greater Philadelphia region for more than a decade, it is an honor to receive this recognition. At Northwest, we remain committed to ensuring that our colleagues are representative and reflective of the communities and customers we serve. I’m excited to help shepherd our growth efforts in the region and proud to lead a growing team of creative and innovative banking professionals.

In his current role as market executive and regional vice president of commercial banking, Ibrahim leads all aspects of Northwest Bank’s expansion in the Delaware Valley region. This includes recruiting, loan production origination and execution, portfolio management, compliance, marketing and communication, and diversity and inclusion efforts.

In addition to receiving this recognition by the Philadelphia Business Journal, Ibrahim was also recently named a 2022 class recipient of AL DÍA’s 40 Under Forty awards.

Held annually, the Diversity in Business Awards recognizes diverse business leaders who have demonstrated success in their respective fields and through philanthropic endeavors. This year’s class will be celebrated at a live event on August 25 and will be featured in a special edition of the Philadelphia Business Journal on August 26.
