Kristen Mekulsia Named Among Pennsylvania Business Central’s 2023 Women Making a Difference List

State College, PA – Northwest Bank, a full-service financial institution offering a complete line of business and personal banking products, is pleased to share that Pennsylvania Business Central has named Kristen Mekulsia, South Central PA region president, to its Women in Business 2023 Women Making a Difference listing.
This year’s honorees were recognized for the positive impact they have within the Central Pennsylvania business community including their continued efforts to give back through volunteering and mentoring.
As South Central PA Region President, Mekulsia collaborates with her colleagues to ensure the needs and financial goals of Northwest customers are met through exceptional service, support and innovation. In addition to her role as region president, Mekulsia’s passion for providing a rewarding employee experience is evident through her intense devotion to culture and engagement.
The York native is also an active member of her community, serving on the board of the YWCA Lancaster, and volunteers with Junior Achievement and SCPA Women in Leadership.

Mekulsia brings more than 20 years of banking experience to her role at Northwest. Previously, she held leadership positions at F.N.B. and Fulton Financial Corporation. Mekulsia holds a specialized business administration and management degree from the Consolidated School of Business and studied organizational leadership at Penn State.
