Northwest Bank Expands SBA Lending Team, Welcomes Eight SBA Lending Specialists Across the Bank’s Footprint

Columbus, Ohio – Northwest Bank, a full-service financial institution offering a complete line of business and personal banking products, continues to execute its strategic business banking initiatives through the expansion of its SBA lending team, providing creative and flexible financing solutions to meet the needs of small businesses across the bank’s footprint. Led by National SBA Sales Manager Lindsay Cost, the team includes SBA lending specialists Aaron Aldrich, Aaron Czycalla, Dan Devlin, Dan O’Malia, Angel Rosario, John Soldi and Keith Warren.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Lindsay Cost leads Northwest’s growing team of SBA lending specialists from Pittsburgh, where she serves as SBA sales team leader and regional senior vice president. Prior to joining Northwest, Cost served as vice president, SBA product specialist at Huntington Bank. Cost earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from New York University as well as a master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Active in her community, Lindsay serves as the Vice Chairperson of the advisory board for the Salvation Army of Western Pennsylvania and serves with the Awana Ministry.

Bringing 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, Aaron Aldrich serves the as regional vice president, senior SBA business development officer for the Northwest Pennsylvania region. Previously, Aldrich served as director of lending strategies at Bridgeway Capital. Aldrich earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pittsburgh and his Master of Business Administration from Point Park University. He serves on the board for the North Side Christian Health Center as well as the advisory committee of Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship, the ChathamWomen Business Center and Kiva Pittsburgh.

Also joining the SBA lending team is Aaron Czycalla who joined Northwest Bank as regional vice president, senior business banking officer in November of 2022. Starting in January 2024, Czycalla will be joining Northwest’s SBA business development efforts in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to Northwest, Czycalla served as vice president, portfolio business development officer at Bank of America.

Dan Devlin recently joined Northwest Bank as regional vice president, senior SBA business development officer covering Northwest’s Indiana markets. With more than 30 years of business banking experience, Devlin previously served as vice president and SBA business development officer at PNC Bank. Devlin is a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural finance and graduated with a master’s degree in banking from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 

Dan O’Malia, serves as Northwest’s regional vice president and SBA business development officer for Northern Ohio. O’Malia formerly served as a commercial banking officer at Premier Bank and is a graduate of John Carroll University. An active member of his community, O’Malia has volunteered at L’Arche Cleveland for over 30 years.

Angel Rosario serves the South Central and Eastern Pennsylvania region as regional vice president and SBA business development officer. With more than 20 years of banking experience, Rosario most recently served as director of community lending at Community First Fund. Rosario studied business and finance at Northampton Community College as well as computer science at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. He serves as a board member for CASA of Lancaster and Lebanon Counties as well as Lancaster Central Market Trust.

Regional Vice President and SBA Business Development Officer John Soldi serves the Great Lakes region of the bank’s footprint. Before joining Northwest, Soldi served as a commercial lender at Canandaigua National Bank & Trust. Soldi earned his bachelor’s degree in management from St. John Fisher University. He serves on the board of directors for the Rochester Ataxia Foundation.

Serving the Central Ohio region, Keith Warren brings more than 18 years of experience in the banking and finance industry to his role as regional vice president and senior SBA business development officer. Warren previously served as senior vice president, commercial lending at CF Bank. Warren earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio University as well as his masters of business administration from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
