Building a brighter future - together

We provide financial support to IRS-registered nonprofit organizations whose missions align with our focus on economic mobility and opportunity.
 
Our goal is to partner with organizations that create tangible and lasting change in the communities we serve.

 

Who qualifies 

To be considered, organizations must: 
  • Be an active 501(c)(3) nonprofit
  • Have been in continuous operation for at least three years
  • Have a minimum annual operating budget of $150,000

Where and what we fund

  • Organizations must deliver programs or services in the states where we operate (Indiana, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania).
  • Programs and services must align with at least one of our four pillars of economic mobility
    • Financial literacy education and outreach
    • Affordable housing
    • Entrepreneurship initiatives
    • Education and skills development

What we don’t fund

  • Faith-based organizations for religious or doctrinal activities
  • Political parties, campaigns or lobbying groups
  • Individuals or for-profit entities
  • Organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, race or color, national origin, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran or military status, citizenship or immigration status, family status or socioeconomic status.
  • Grants for the purpose of event sponsorship (e.g., galas, banquets, tournaments or fundraisers).

What to expect

When applying, you will need to provide:
  • Tax ID/EIN
  • IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter 
  • Recent financial statements
Decisions are made approximately 90 days after applying.
