COLUMBUS, Ohio (October 21, 2026) – Northwest Bank today announced a new partnership with the Columbus Crew that brings the Northwest Bank name to one of the most prominent entry points at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field: the newly designated Northwest Bank Gate. Located on the stadium's northwest side adjacent to Astor Park, the Northwest Bank Gate will serve as a welcoming gateway for thousands of Crew supporters.
“Columbus is an important part of our growth story, and this partnership with the Columbus Crew is just one of the many ways in which we are deepening our connection with the region,” said Louis J. Torchio, president and CEO of Northwest Bank. “The Northwest Bank Gate is a visible symbol of our dedication to Central Ohio and an opportunity to connect with Crew supporters.”
“We are pleased to welcome Northwest Bank as an official partner of the Columbus Crew and to unveil the Northwest Bank Gate,” said Mary Shepro, President of Business Operations for the Columbus Crew. “Northwest shares our commitment to creating memorable experiences for supporters and making a positive impact across our community.”
Once inside the stadium, Crew fans will see Northwest Bank’s logo displayed on the ribbon LED and stadium video and tunnel boards. Fans listening to iHeart Radio will hear Northwest mentioned during pre- and post-match broadcasts.
The partnership marks another milestone in Northwest's expanding presence across Central Ohio. The bank recently opened a financial center in New Albany, its first in Central Ohio, and one next to The Ohio State University, with three more set to open in the Columbus market by early 2027. Northwest also recently announced plans to build and open a new headquarters in 2029 in Dublin’s Bridge North development.
