Northwest Bank Expands its Commercial Banking Leadership Team with Two New Hires

Columbus, Ohio – Northwest Bank, a full-service financial institution offering a complete line of business and personal banking products, announces the addition of two new positions on its commercial banking leadership team. Caleb Beckford joins Northwest as head of strategy and sales effectiveness and Gordon Saint-Denis serves as executive vice president of sports finance.

Prior to joining Northwest, Beckford held a series of increasingly responsible commercial banking positions in areas such as strategy, distribution, credit, financial and business analysis, during his 20+ years at TD Bank, N.A. He brings a wealth of relevant experience to his new role including establishing new policies and procedures to launch start-up verticals, building pricing tools, implementing pipeline tracking systems, and building out processes for business analysis and reporting.

Saint-Denis will develop Northwest’s strategy, credit, underwriting policies and loan booking processes for customers in the sports finance market. He brings more than 20 years of experience in sourcing, structuring and executing transactions with professional sports franchises, sports manufacturing and technology companies and e-sports businesses. He held positions focused on the sports market at Monroe Capital, Citizens Bank, Huntington Bank and Lehman Brothers, among others.

“The addition of Caleb and Gordon further strengthens our efforts to continuously expand and enhance the capabilities and services we bring to our commercial bank customers,” said Jay DesMarteau, senior executive vice president, chief commercial banking officer, Northwest Bank. “We look forward to the experience and expertise that they will bring to our commercial bank customers and team.”
