Northwest Bank Welcomes Charles Payton as Community Lending Officer in Cleveland, Ohio

Cleveland, Ohio – Northwest Bank, a full-service financial institution offering a complete line of business and personal banking solutions, has appointed Charles Payton as regional vice president, community lending officer. Rocco Diina, senior vice president, head of mortgage sales, made the announcement.

In this role, Payton will originate new CRA-qualifying residential mortgage and small business relationships across the Cleveland market.

Of his new role, Payton said, “I’m excited to join Northwest as community lending officer and provide best-in-class lending services and options to historically underserved communities in Cleveland.”

Prior to joining Northwest, Payton served as a business development officer and branch manager at Peoples Bank. He also held various business relationship management positions at Citizens Bank and Huntington Bank.

Payton attended Baldwin University in Berea, Ohio. Actively involved in his community, he volunteers at Lutheran Metro Church.
