At Northwest, your security is our priority.  That’s why we ask you to enter a secure access code when you log into online banking from a computer or smartphone we don’t recognize.  Right now, you can receive your secure access codes by text or recorded call.

Receive your account statements and documents securely through Online Banking. You can even store your statements for seven years.


Mobile Deposit

Quickly, conveniently and securely deposit checks into your Northwest accounts using your smartphone or tablet. Simply download the Northwest app from Apple's App Store or Google Play for Android devices and login with the same Login ID and password you use for Online Banking. Visit our Mobile Deposit FAQs for more information. Please note, newly enrolled Online Banking customers don't have access to Mobile Deposit until 30 days after enrollment.


Money Desktop

No matter where you are in life, Money Desktop can make it possible to help you achieve your financial goals. The free tool is easy to use, so you can use it for all your budgeting needs and have your entire budget in one place.

This personal financial management tool allows you to budget and manage your finances by aggregating all of your accounts across multiple financial institutions. You can see balances and transactions in one place, on any device. Text Banking

Can’t connect to the internet? No problem. Using Text Banking, you can complete simple transactions through the SMS interface of your mobile phone. Log into Online Banking to enroll in Text Banking. Then, you’ll be ready to use the following commands:

  • To check balances, text the command BAL to 226563 to return all accounts. Text BALANCE followed by the appropriate account nickname to return a specific account.
  • To view transactions, text the command HIST followed by account nickname, to 226563.
  • To transfer between accounts, text the command XFER followed by “from” account nickname and the “to” account nickname and the amount.
  • To request assistance, text the command HELP to 226563.
  • To opt out of mobile banking, text the command STOP.



If you’ve ever received a new debit or credit card, you probably had to visit multiple websites—like Amazon, Netflix, iTunes and Pandora—to update your card information.

With CardSwap, now available through Northwest Online Banking, you can provide participating subscriptions or point of sale merchants with your new card information, including card number, expiration date and CVV code, all at once—saving you valuable time and ensuring that scheduled or recurring payments happen without interruption.

Enroll today and use your Northwest debit or credit card to pay all your subscription and point of sale merchants and remember to use CardSwap to update your information any time you receive a new card. To enroll, log into online banking and look for CardSwap in the main menu. We’ve also put together a user guide and frequently asked questions to walk you through the enrollment process.
